Propaganda Posing As A Counter Terrorism Fiction Novel

By Tammie Caldwell

In this day of wars in the Middle East and North Africa, propaganda is still the favored tool of the ruling class. By controlling the flow of information, they can control the opinions of many people within society. Most people think newspapers or television when they hear the word propaganda, but it is just as easy to fit altered or biased information in a counter terrorism fiction novel.

While the earliest examples of propaganda were actually spread during the age of Rome, modern propaganda included everything from fliers dropped by airplanes to radio broadcasts from top world leaders. Adolph Hitler recognized and utilized the power of radio in order to spread the message of the Nazi Party. Many Germans sat huddled around their radios hanging on to his every word.

Hitler also utilized the medium of television media, and there were many movies coming out of Germany at that time which spread the Nazi idealism as well. His voice reached further than the borders of Germany. The Olympic Games gave him a world-wide audience where he was able to deliver an emotional speech.

With this power to reach large numbers, Hitler was able to stage the fire which sparked his initial attack on Poland. This was done as an act of internal vandalism wherein his own men started the fire, and it was blamed on a mentally handicapped Jewish man. This style of provocateur is now universally known as a false flag attack.

The American media machine utilized this same tactic in order to get a draft for the war in Vietnam. While this was not an official false flag attack, as no attack actually took place at all, it was the first time the media was used to fool the public. The capsized boat which was reported to be an American naval vessel was actually a Vietnamese fishing boat.

There are many who claim that the 2001 attack on the Twin Towers was the most elaborate false flag history has ever seen. They cite the erroneous reporting that took place on that day, the relationships that all eyewitnesses had to media sources, and the nature of the collapse itself. The claims that 9-11 was a false flag attack have divided Americans greatly.

Of course, in keeping with the art of propaganda, it is this social division that actually helps the powers that be keep control of the people. It is possible that this Truth Movement, and even the 1% protests, are themselves only controlled opposition. It is possible that the powers that be are behind both sides of the debate.

With research and a discerning mind, one generally discovers that the truth almost always lies somewhere in the middle of a debate. One remains discerning by keeping a grain of salt whenever reading anything; whether it be a book, newspaper article, or blog. If one can learn to ask who benefits from a situation, and then follow the trail of money to where it leads, then they can maintain objectivity necessary to recognize the truth.
