In Regard To Metal Prints

By Marci Nielsen

In metallic printing, dyes are placed inside specially coated aluminum sheets. In traditional paper prints, the dye is placed inside the surface but not on top. Metal prints protect the image better because the factors which lead to degradation are less likely to reach it.

Water can cause extensive damage on paper. However, this is not the case when aluminum is used. In addition, it can just be wiped with microfiber cloth if dirt settles on it. Also, if it has being put up for display many people may touch it making it appear greasy. Wiping the image will fix such a situation.

It is frustrating to lose pictures because you cannot rewind time to relive the memories and take fresh pictures. Therefore, you just have to make sure you protect the images. Thus, you should choose metallic printing to protect precious memories. The standard paper printing is susceptible to damages from various things. In addition, the image quality deteriorates over time and at the end you will have a poor quality image to look at.

Metallic prints are very detailed and the colors are intense. Therefore, you will love the final product. However, many things can go wrong with paper printing. You will not be happy if you only see flaws upon looking at the image. You will be bitter about it. Thus, you should make wise choices when producing the prints.

The price of paper and metallic prints is not the same. The latter is more expensive. However, the difference is not great. Therefore, you should sacrifice a few coins so as to get a quality product. To note is that money cannot buy back lost memories. This is because you cannot go back in time to relive the moment. This is why you ought to preserve them well irrespective of the cost.

The product cannot get damaged by scratching. Aluminum metal is resistant to scratches. Thus, you are assured of durability no matter the degree of scratching the item is exposed to. It also does not undergo peeling which is very evident with paper. If the outer coat falls off, so does the image. This is only possible when you use paper printing.

You can go for any option when you want to display it. These include floating walls, shadow boxes, traditional frames and even corner stands. However, if you have other ideas you can also bring them on board. The point is to make the item appear very appealing so that it can draw the attention of passers-by quickly. Even under intense heat it is not possible for the product to get damaged. Thus, it will be safe even when the house is on fire.

The metallic prints are very light. Therefore, you can move with them to any destination. Some paper prints are so heavy because they have to be fixed on frames. This requires special shipments if you are moving to a faraway destination. The installations also have to be done by specialists. This takes up a lot of your time not to mention the money you have to spend in paying for these services.
