Nexus 7 Constraints

Even though the Google Nexus 7 offers a lot of abilities specifically designed to tempt those looking for a gadget at an affordable price, but there are some drawbacks. Of course some sacrifices can be anticipated with any reasonably billed gadget.

Storage: Despite the fact that Google is distributing both an 8 gb and a 16GB version of the device, neither device features a microSD expansion slot, which means no expandable storage space. Some have reported that the lower-end version will be full after getting just 3 to 5 movies, indicating that the 16gb Version may be the smarter option.

Wireless: The shortage of hard drive space is supposedly resolved by streaming media and files via Google Play & Google Drive; even so without 3G / 4G Wireless options, the data saved in the cloud won't always be accessible, which might turn into a source of disappointment for anyone utilizing their gadget on the fly. Media: Just like the Amazon Kindle Fire, the key purpose of the Nexus 7 is to encourage users to buy media from the Google Play store; however the selection of choices is sort of tiny in comparison.

Expanding Nexus 7 Media Possibilities

Nevertheless, the business does offer around 500,000 applications at Google Play, thousands of films, over 3 million free eBooks and hundreds of purchasable digital books. In addition, countless songs are available for purchase on Google music and the business is continuously increasing its collection. In case these limited choices aren't adequate Nexus 7 users can simply build upon these media choices by using a Kindle e book application, Amazon Cloud music application, and any Android-compatible apps.
