Grant Park is the oldest Atlanta public parks and is legendary for its charm and natural beauty. The park offers some of the best walking trails and flower gardens in Atlanta, as well as the renowned Zoo Atlanta, home to more than 1,300 animals from all across the world including Giant Pandas. Grant Park also plays host to the Atlanta Cyclorama, an interesting cyclorama that showcases the 1864 Battle of Atlanta, one of the critical battles in the Civil War. Chastain Park is the largest park in Atlanta. Containing more than 260 acres of public space, Chastain Park holds a large selection of jogging and walking trails, tennis courts, a golfing course, play areas, a swimming pool, amphitheater and even a personal pony park.
