Older, used cards carry other owner's energy and can also be hard to shuffle. You can find new decks online for around $10. You should consider spending 20-30 minutes at least three times per week when starting. The more time you spend in the beginning, the more new information will stick with you. If you only practice readings once a month, you will find you have to start over each time you begin. Remember, consistency is key to memorizing new information.
