His life began in Tupelo, Mississippi. He and his parents lived there until he had his thirteenth birthday. They relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, where Graceland now stands.

Graceland stands as an accolade to Elvis. He bought it for his mother Gladys and resided there until his untimely death. Gold records cover the walls and rooms are all decorated to suit his taste in furnishings.

Massive pillars lead to the front entrance of this tourist attraction. Fans line up outside the gates each year on the day of his death. They each carry one lit candle and file quietly past his grave.

Over the years, mothers have passed on their love for his music to their daughters. Those daughters, in turn, pass it on to their daughters. Many men are fans of the man and his music as well.

Daughters of the original fans learn to love his music as they grow up. Then they play it for their own daughters. There are men who become fans as well.

Fans in all age groups travel from all over to attend shows in San Francisco, CA. They see one or more of the hundred and three impersonators. Some of these impersonators are incredible and make a living at what they do.

They dance, gyrate their hips and sing up on the stages. Imitations of his voice and accent help fans remember. It is never the same, but they can listen and allow memories to do the rest.
