The only way to enjoy sci fi novels is to have a fantastic imagination and a completely open mind. You can't enjoy one of these books if you are reading about zombies and witches and thinking to yourself this could never happen then you will never fully enjoy the book, you have to let yourself become part of the book to enjoy it.
