What could possibly be more delightful than finishing off a superb meal with a great pudding? Pairing that dessert with the perfect pudding wine of course! Alas, finding the perfect pair isn?t the simplest task. Fortunately for amateurs many experienced wine drinkers have attempted and selected the most well-liked pudding wines. It can be said that there is a perfect dessert wine for every person. These 4 wines are claimed to be some of the best dessert wines out there. Each, served alone or twinned with a mouth-watering pudding, are wonderful choices for each season.

Hogue Cellar's Late Harvest White Riesling (Washington)

Made in Eastern Washington the climate is ideal for manufacturing late harvest wine's. It is not surprising that Hogue Basement developed a Riesling with a tangerine and apricot flavour. The wine is moderately sweet and crisp. Enjoy a glass served with a warm slice of apple pie and experience a delight.

Warre's Otima 10 Year Tawny (Portugal)

Christmas dinner will never be the same if finished off with an exquisite slice of pie twinned with this light-body Port. The robust aroma or vanilla spice blended with rich tastes is a holiday must have. Pairing a bottle of this savoury Port with chocolates makes the perfect Holiday present too.

Saracco Moscato d'Asti (Italy)

Picture a nice Spring ramble to the wine bars in New York City and say you were to come across a savory piece of NY Cheesecake, this Moscato is the ideal partner. It's ripe peach and honeysuckle flavour make this "frizz ante" light and sweet in the taste and palate feel. It is no surprise this Moscato is considered one of the hottest dessert wines.

This Ice Wine is made out of fresh frozen grapes that are pushed to form a sweet delicious flavour. This wine is said to be perfect alone for a sweet dessert. The perfume of tropical fruits, apricot, banana, tangerine and a little hint of spice make this wine renowned for it's varietal personality.
